It isn't that. When a reality is so distressing...so appaling...when somepne is sawing off your arms and legs and you respond with..."I don't think I'll be able to ever walk again"...it's hardly a negative point of view you're expressing. It's as postivie as things can be under the circumstances...better to see things for what they are and not kid yourself.

What does it take to make it clear that this whole bloody war was something other than what it was sold as...and that oridinary Americans are going to be paying the price for a long time to come. You can't kill and maim innocent people by the thousands and hope to escape Justice. It's never happened yet...that's why America has been paying and paying...it isn't only others who get maimed for life...Americans are selling their souls for what they think is security and an enviable lifestyle and they won't get either.

I stood in the airport lounge in San Jose and watched people nervously look away from a Hindu man...and look back again and away again. And I wondered who was more to be feared...these white people with this litany of crimes against people of color, or the people of color who've been made to suffer for the last century...within our lifetimes.

The white people are the killers and bombers and murderers...they are the ones waging wars around the planet against people vastly less capable and more than that...less bloody by far.

The best thing to come out of this is the damage done to Colin Powell...the damn fool let himself be used...tickled to think he was okay by whitey...used like toilet paper...they wiped their ass with him...the more respected he was the better for them to use and then ruin. Belaafonte was right...the man was flattered to be thought of as a house nigger...closer to Massa's heart than the common run of the mill niggers in the field. I don't know why he was respected in the first place since all he's done is kill Dark people his white bosses pointed him at his entire life...but maybe now he'll see what they used him for all along...like our own assholes in Iraq who are so thrilled to be used by the Americans.

What low self-esteem these people have, to try to kiss up to the same man who raped their mothers...it's a disgusting spectacle made bearable by the pain I see in Powell...as he drowns in front of us...in his own infamy and shame...a dog for the white man sent back to his kennel, his tail between his legs, his medals all besmirched as they were already the day they pinned them on him and fed him a bone.

Well done Powell, roll over and beg...you knew all along they were using you and lying to you and you thought you saw a way to profit from it anyway. Enjoy...and get out of our sight.
