Okay let's review. We've both accused each other of character flaws...which makes us Human. I'll settle for that. As to your asertion that I am a Nihilist and one who tears down and mocks let me first say that there isn't a damn thing wrong with mockery...it's a fine, noble and well established tradititon and I'd hate to see it disappear...as old JC surely mocked those moneychangers right out of business. As far as tearing things own, I don't see how you can accuse me of that, in fairness...unless you mean tearing down chains and ripping apart blind spots...which I and everyone else has a right and even a moral obligation to do...as our ancestors had to tear down in order to build...I think the facts don't support you on that.

When it was in vogue in the late 70's to demonstate and scale walls and protest, I didn't. I didn't like what I saw being done with children in the juvenile justice system so, like a good Assyrian, I waded right in..got myself a vounteer position with the Public Defenders while I worked pumping gas so I could learn about the problem first hand first...that led to a grant from the American Home Foundation with which I rented a huge haunted house in the ghetto and got licensed to take in kids no one else wanted...and then the Federal gran and island etc. When I saw the deplorable state we "prouded" Assyrians are in...I built the first Assyrian NOT Christian, monument in 2500 years and went on to do it two more times, though Christians finally did me in...though they haven't really...this is a continuation of the same effort...there are all sorts of monuments and Art comes in many shapes.

I don't see how you can tag me with being a destroyer...unless it's a destroyer of your particular myths and then who cares? You hold your own balls up and I'll support mine.

Now you make a great fuss of being the defender of widows and orphans...of upholding Decency and Good and Kindness while you state that I am against all of these things because I don't buy Christianity. That's absurd and dishonest of you. I'll accept anything about me that's true..why should I lie...to whom? To myself? Why? To fool whom? Myself? Why?

If I wanted to tear Goodness down I'd come out and say it...I don't speak in tongues.

All the good and decent things you admire, I do as well. I just don't believe for a minute that Christianity is the way to get there...or the ONLY way. I go further and say Christianity is THE way to keep from getting there...as any study of Christian history will show...six million wrong people killed 60 years ago and a half million wrong chidren killed just a few years ago and counting.

I understand you want to say these are all done by wrong-Christians or no-Christians...if that's true then you real Christians are doing precious little about stopping your brethren and instead you get pissed as hell when an Assyrian steps in and "mocks" these child-killers...like NOTHING should be said to upset them while they barrel along doing "wrong". Add to that the fact that these are Assyrian children dying in our own Holy lands and a goodly number of them were Christian as well...makes your protestations and weak-tea pleas for understanding and sympathy and forbearance and fairplay for these Christians ring a bit dull to my ears.

And the knots you tie yourself into trying to explain when meat becomes wafer and blood wine...or is it the other way around...shows your desperation and the damage done to your own sense of decency and common sense. And you haven't even addressed the implicatons of accepting gifts that come through murder, for had Jesus not been butchered you wouldn't get into heaven and apparantly you can't understand much about goodness and morals unless someone is brutally killed first...while I and the Assyrians before me and before Jesus had no such trouble. And if the modern world is to blame then maybe that proves the point even more...this is a predominantly Christian modern world...I know, I KNOW..."they are the wrong kind".

Your lecture about wine and meat and cookies and blood is an embarrassment, or would be for a grown man...it is a good example of the kind of obscurantism practised by the rest of the Kids in your church. Keep your speech plain and simple...you say Christ wanted to die and wanted to be eaten. I pointed out to you a recent trial in Germany of a man accused of killing and eating his friend....and as a part of his defense he claimed the same thing you do...that the victim wanted to be killed and eaten. That makes one of them insane and the other one criminal AND insane. yet if it comes from a Jew god..it's a holy sacrament...then again, where's the surprise?

I also asked you, as a rhetorical question, what it means when a religion takes something utterly condemned by every decent society...Christian and not...and then turns it into a holy sacrament. I say it makes people liable...sort of like hypnotic suggeston does when a key phrase or word is used to induce a trance...to committing all sorts of OTHER unspeakable acts when a god calls on them. And I think Christian history backs me up...as the example of the cruel and completely unwarranted torture and slow murder of 500,000 innocent Assyrian children by what? Hottentots? Assyrians? Trobrian Islanders? Chinese? Buddhists? Who did this crime against Humanity if not Christians? And I DON'T give them the "out" they reserve for themselves or you have ready for them to escape through. They went to YOUR Church...not a Shinto temple...if children leave algebra class and think an apple makes four when subtracted from a snake...I don't blame the child...I blame the fucking Christian teachers. Then again I wouldn't consign an infant to hell if it dies before a priest could get his hands on it.

I think when all is said and done, you are a terribly frightened person who believes there is nothng to be done but grip tightly to whatever pacifier you were given and hope for the best. I can easily imagine you 2700 years ago in BetNahrain telling Assyrians how DARE they think they know better than Slugmug...whom you were convinced had the "best possible answers anyone could expect".

I really do believe you think if you hang onto your childhood and avoid growing up...you won't grow old and die...and then rot. You will anyway...no matter what the Jews told you through the Romans and Elizabethans...your best bet and the only thing you can do to redeem yourself, is not rot while you're alive. A stagnant river soon stinks and the life in it dies...and then it does.
