>> I hope you don't mind smeone shooting holes in that rascists' letter.
Pass this on and hopefully it will gain some legs
>> Pass this on and maybe a few people will think before speaking or writing next time.
It certainly reflects what the vast majority of us think but are
sometimes too afraid to say
>> It does no such thing it reflects the view of a barely literate rascist who's finally been brave enough to come out of the closet and show his ugly head.
After hearing South Australia changed its opinion and let a Muslim woman
have her picture on her driver's license with her face covered, this is
an editorial written by an Australian citizen, published in a local
IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT.
I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some
individual or their culture.
>> Over thirty years ago while this SOB's father was calling newly arrived Greeks and Italians 'Daggoes" and spitting and beating up on these newly arrived Australians. Meanwhile the White Australia only rascist red-neck government was continung the genocide against the TRUE Australians the Aboriginal Australians by forcefully removing their children from their parents. A clear violation of point 4 of the UN's definition of genocide of which Australia is a signatory.
Since the terrorist attacks on Bali Bombing, we have experienced a surge
in patriotism by the majority of Australians.
>> And judging by this letter a bigger surge of rascism.
However, the dust from the attacks had barely settled when the
"politically correct" crowd began complaining about the possibility
that our patriotism was offending others.
I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who
is seeking a better life by coming to Australia.
>> This redneck has no right to be against immigration his convict Aboriginal-murdering POME ancestors were immigrants barely 4 generations ago.
Our population is almost entirely made up of descendants of immigrants.
However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our
country, and apparently some born here, need to understand.
This idea of Australia being a multicultural community has served only
to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity.
>> This SOB is so stupid. The ONLY true Australian culture is Aboriginal culture. The other cultures including the Anglo-Saxon convict culture have all been imported. I will get rid of my imported culture if this red neck Anglo-Saxon gets rid of his culture.
As Australians, we have our own culture, our own society, our own
language and our own lifestyle.
This culture has been developed over centuries of struggles, trials, and
victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom.
>> Australian has only had sovereignty for the last 100 years. Before that it was a POME convict island.
We speak ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese,
Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of
our society, learn the language!
>> And just who keeps making this absurd claim that newly arrived immigrants don't speak English?
In fact some of them know 5 languages and are more educated than this red-neck will ever be. One has only to visit one of our Universities to see who the majority of students are.
"In God We Trust" is our National Motto. This is not some Christian,
right wing, political slogan. We adopted this motto because Christian
men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is
clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the
walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider
another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our
>> Christian convict men and women found this island by slaughtering every black true Australian Aboriginal that walked or breathed. They were so good at their jobs in fact that in Tasmania the last known Aborigne died in custody during the 1960s! Imagine that the first people to ever wipe out totally another race. The infamous Nazis couldn't even do that during WW2. Where was your God then?
Meanwhile we're busy worrying about the fate of the Tasmanian Tiger and seeing if there's a possible way to bring him back to life.
If the Southern Cross offends you, or you don't like A Fair Go, then you
should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet.
>> I love the Southern Cross and I of course believe in a fair go. Why? Because I was born here and I have understood what it means to be an Australian. I am more Australian then this red-neck Anglo-Saxon will ever be because I will fight for all Australians. Yesterday these red-necks targeted Steven's parents when they first arrived here, today they are targeting the defenceless Australian-Muslms and tommorow who knows perhaps it'll be the Asians.
Being a true fair dinkum Australian I want to tell this SOB to go back to POME land where he came from. His kind is not welcome here.
We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we
really don't care how you did things where you came from.
>> Since when has any immigrant forced there culture onto anyone of us???
This is OUR COUNTRY, Our Land, and Our Lifestyle, and we will allow you
every opportunity to enjoy all this.
>> No it was the Aborigine's land until your ancestors killed them and used their scrotum sacks as tobacoo pouches. And it's not up to you to allow anything.
But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about our Flag,
Our Pledge, Our National Motto, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage
you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom -
THE RIGHT TO LEAVE!!!
>> I wish this red-neck SOB would take his own advice.
I figure if we all keep passing this to our friends (and acquaintances)
it Will also, sooner or later get back to the complainers, lets all try,
>> That's right folks the new adopt a rascist campaign is brought to you by the Liberal party.
>> Steven seriously I am appauled by this red-neck's letter and startled that you haven't even bothered to ask your parents what these red-necks were doing to Greeks and Italians during the 70s when they first came here and worked on projects such as the Snowy River project that built our magnificent country. We must all be more tolerant of all cultures and language or it'll be our turn next.
>> Here's another sign that I'm a true Australian ready and stand by what I believe. Unlike the red-neck I'm going to actually sign my response and stand by it.
>> David Chibo
