Chomsky almost says it...almost says the obvious which, as he said in reference to another stand he took when no one else dared to...could have gotten him hanged. Chomsky comes closest to saying Bush WANTS Terrorists. He dances around it...alludes to it..but it`s such a preposterous thing to say, on the surface of it, that he stops short.
I, however, having left school in the third grade don`t know any better so I`ll just come out and say it..America needs the Bogeyman...it needs to see Satan in the bushes outside of Salem..it needs to see him in old or young voluptuous women..it needed to to see him in the Labor Movement and in Communism and Civil Rights.. it needs to see him on MTV...and it needs that old Devil in Palestinians first and now Muslims in general. Nothing rallies Americans to their own destruction and coincidentally to the garnering of stupendous wealth by a few..than that old Beelzebub hisself. Now they`ve found him in Extremist Terrorists...which odly enough describes the United States a lot better than it does Palestinians or Iraqis or Afghanis.
They are the Freedom Fighters..we are become the Nazis...they are the Minutemen, we are King George.
