That's an interesting perspective. I guess one could interpret it that way, but I was really referring to a Supreme Being (First Cause). Now, I understand what you mean when you said parents, but I'm not sure about what you mean when you said Mother Nature. Are you referring to some kind of undefined Cosmic Force?
By the way, I also agree, that people who harm the environment cause untold harm to the entire human race and unless it is by an unintentional accident, it certainly is evil. Evil in every sense, for those who believe in a Supreme Being as well as the secular humanist, because in the former case they are thwarting the purpose, intent and design of the Creator (Supreme Being).
