Ok children!! Settle down, settle down...

Now. Tiglath. I want you to type 100 times "I will never again use inane equations again to count the number of dead children, civilians, soldiers". This will be typed, not cut'n'pasted, in the forum.
Second, I want you to write a 100 word essay on "Discuss geopolitical reasons motivating the US's intentions in the Mid East and compare and contrast this with the UN's"
Here are some tips:
1. Don't lapse into equations
2. Refrain from junior high school conspiracies, you're a big boy now.
3. Paragraphs must be longer than one sentence each.
4. Do not oversimplify things to the point of sounding ridiculous.
5. Rhetorical questions must be kept to a maximum of one.

Unlike you Tiglath, I don't think the Mid East can be reduced to a simple East versus Corporate America. And unlike Farid I have no problems with calling Islam a fucked up religion, just like all those religions over in that mad part of the world. And unlike Farid I certainly don't have some rosy picture Mid East prior to Corporate US being some perfumed rose garden. You see, I don't think blaming corporate US is the answer.

I reckon life in the Ottoman Empire must have been a nasty experience for many groups. That's why the Turks are still one of the top three most despised nationalities on earth. That region wasn't kept together through luv'n'rispekt but though sheer brutality. Yeah, maybe there was the occasional bright peaceful period in the Mid East when Mullahs were kissing priests arses and vice versa, but on the whole it was a pretty unhappy time to live in.

I don't think it was too different living under any other empire. No one but no one lives happily ever after under an empire. only diff with the Assyrian Empire was all the good that poured out of it in contrast to the bad and the ugly.

So I don't think if there was no Western interference in the Mid East that we would be so happy; it would be a matter of Kurd massacring Turk massacring Assyrian massacring A-rab massacring Maholmoyo massacring.... leaving even more dumb equation for Tiglath pileser to invent up.

Nah, I reckon Western deomcracy and values are the collest thing in the last 2000 years.

Shove it down their throats like a bitter medicine I say. Just ask Tiglath to calculate thr right dose.

Naaaaaaaaaaaaaah

>I thought Tiglath would have outgrown his silly equations (you know Babylonian theorems and 'se7en' and all) by now. But no, instead he lapses into even sillier, more misguided, even clumsier and irrelevant equations, using iraqibodycount.orgy.cum of all things!!

+++Do you object to the device used or do you mind things shoved up your ass on principle? Would you be willing to admit that SOME innocent people have died...or are you Republican AND Assrin? And, if you're willing to bend your science that far...would you conceded that SOME Christians have been killed among the rest? Or are you among the stars and we must try to convince you that twenty is too many but that one isn't okay either?
>
>Pure science in action! With Wilfred's blessings.

+++Nothing is pure. You introduced it. We need some way to make sense of what's undoubtedly happened over there. If no one is by to film it...are mass executions not taking place? Do you have an alternate suggestion...and buring your head in science doesn't count. As to Wilfred, I will admit that's a surprise...but for the better. Like the day he went from dresses to pants...the essential person is the same...but he cuts a better figure for encouraging and then allowing this to be printed in his mag.
>
>Oh, but no, of course, it's not meant to be taken literally, you silly, it's only illlustrative, to make a point.

+++Are you perhaps refering to your entire post...or what?
>
>And if I ever hear one more thing about US sanctions I will blow like the proverbial assyrian volcano, like a ripe zitt, all over this flat screen.

+++Just clean up after yourself...we can take anything.
>
>These sanctions were UN sanctions, the same UN that you all swoon and get dizzy over: no matter who was underwriting these sanctions, they had a big fat UN written over them.

+++I don't think so. And it does matter who underwites them...same entity that underwrites the UN...which is nothing more than a PR firm for the United States. Get you head out of a beaker sometime and take a look around.

get it? UN. Not US. So stop contradicting yourselves... stop getting erections over how we should all follow the UN lead. I say the US and UN are no different. Fuck the UN.

+++Indeed fuck them all and anyone else you can get your hands on. But that isn't the point here. As tainted as the UN is when they manage to deliver even a conservative estimate of innocent civillians killed...we should take them at their tainted word. I don't get it...you have no way of getting us any figures...we don't trust the US's own figures...there is no one else besides the UN...would you prefer we made numbers up? I'd say the figure is many more times than what even the UN is willing to admit...so let's throw them all out and just say "many" or "lots"...or even "some"...inocent people were killed...among them were "several" or "some" Christians. Do you feel better now?
>

YES!! SAYING I DUNNO LOTS IS FAR BETTER THAN BORING ME WITH PROLIXLY CONJURED UP EQUATIONS.........SOUNDS FAR BETTER. BESIDES, YOU'RE ALL MAKING UP THE NUMBERS ANYWAY, SO WHATS DIFFERENT??

>Yes, yes, I know, at least the UN is the closest we have to a united international body, at least they're trying. At least, at least, at least.

++++It may indeed be the closest...that's why it was bought up long ago...even from the day it started it began its career with a major travesty and injustice...the creation of Israel...to help out with the Christian "Final Solution".
>
>If the League of Nations [UN] hadn't entered the Mid East to 'clean' things up, we probably would't have half the heart aches we have today.

+++Not very scientific of you. If the Front Organization has done this poorly...surely the people who funded it and used it would have found other means. Watch them.

>No more inane equations, Tiglath, please..Pretty please?

+++If the equation is inane, what it attempts to quantify isn't. Or would you prefer silence all around?
