that was a treat...thanks.

Imagine a single community dominated by a few powerful people. The peasants get restless every so often and their kids have way too much freee time on their hands...so they take to protesting war and travelling around to other cities where they join up with peers. Things could get ugly maybe even out of hand.

A certain amount of money circulates through each community...the salaries get spent in stores and on schools and things and like a river flow through the banks and back through the pockets of the people and most of the money one way or another makes it into the hands of the rich...who usually run the financial institutions...for you never get rich by working...you get rich by putting money to work at interest.

What if the fat cats started siphoning off more of the available money in the community...used it to build houses four times as big and buy twice as many cars and on more dinners out and things that still benefitted some in the economy but at the cost of witholding salaries and shrinking savings and disposable income for the people.

Pretty soon you have Blacks and women too demanding more equal rights and they go to work too...only you pay them less and over the years everybody`s salaries and buying power keeps shrinking with more and more of the money winding up stock porfolios and investments of the rich, who get richer while everyone else gets poorer.

The gerat advantage is now you have everyone out working but they`re making less in real buying power...and you`ve got them all SCARED and way too busy hustling and squeezing out their means and the college kids are now thinking about IRAs and investments and their retirement porfolios instead of social justice etc.

What a clever thing to do and call it "market forces" and then Democracy too...and it is democracy...it`s what always happened to democracy before...the fat cats get all the resources.

This idea of Wick´s is like the shot heard round the world. What will the fat ones do?
