On Saturday 7 th February the www.iraqbodycount.net site's maximum body count estimate passed 10,000. It's maximum now sits at around 10,079 while its minimum is at 8,235.

With Assyrians making up roughly 5% of the Iraqi population it's not hard to roughly estimate that the Assyrian people have conservatively lost between 400 to 500 civilian lives as a direct result of this war.
