...this afternoon as I sat carving away at the Assyrian Vase...I recalled your comment about arts and crafts and the perfect beauty of the idea hit me...have the Mexican villagers make the Assyrian Vase...

The multiplying ironies are just too delicious. There the original sits in Narsai's office for over a year and he'll keep it there because all of these cock-suckers are competing with each other and why should they "make me famous".

One of the easiest and most primitive industries in the world is ceramics manufacture. I know the people in Dolores Hidalgo are worried that a Bill Gates is going to get a wild hair one of these days and decide he'd like to take over the Mexican Ceramics Market and there goes an entire country again.

I've had some experience in the past when people I had do something and seemed to screw it up on purpose...so awful was the result when all around them was evidence of their own excellent work...I understand and no hard feelings.

But I think it can be different this time. Again, through a netwrok of delightful and powerful women down here I've been introduced to an absolutely wonderful man and his sister who own just such a factory. I think I can convince him that I'm not going into competition with anything they make or aiming for the same market.

But now I'm thinking I could ask him to loan me or introduce me to someone who could build us a kiln and set up a small production shop to make the vases at Adelita's village. It's worth pursuing, let's put it that way.

Any and all profits would go to the village...not a penny to Assyrians or Christians in Iraq. Let us all see once and for all just what kind of vultures are feeding off the carcass they're at the same time making of this Heritage.

Let thems with the sense and ability profit. I would have been happier to do this with and for our own people...but I already know the names and faces of the bastards and at least one bitch who would have worked like inspired devils behind the scene and my back to undo it. It will still benefit the Heritage because the word will get out there...with the vases...which will be gorgeous...but also with the cards attached...and they can say "Hecho en Mexico" with pride...and shame to our fucking leeders.

At the very core of an Assyrian is the belief and understanding that every child the world over is Assyrian.
