...in the post by Shushan there are some interesting starting points for a meaningful debate...instead these Christians are casting themselves in the uncomfortable though not unusual light, for them, of wanting more war and killing and destruction, no matter how easy it is to write "peace" at the end of each post...these are again signs of how damn importyant WORDS are to them.. By refusing to see what part World power politics have played in pitting religion against religion..as is still the case over there...they fail to see that they were never "hated" or "persecuted" for being Assyrian...WHY? What the hell would modern day Muslims have against their own ancestors in that region?

But our boys insist that this was the primary reason...because Muslims still hate the Assyrians. They simply refuse to face the role Christian loyalties and hopes for salvation and rescue from the West, as well as the unprovoked attacks by those same nations against Islamic states starting with the First Crusade down to this recent one, have played in all that happened to them. It is because they don`t want to face this unpleasant fact that they keep raving on and on about how Muslims hate Assyrians, when it`s Christian duplicity they despise...as I do.

I still say that the Eastern Roman Empire persecuted more Christian "heretics" in that region than the Muslims EVER did...and in the modern era Christians once again caught it...but not from ALL Muslims..for after all Iraq is a Muslim state that TOOK THEM IN and we know Turks and others helped many Christians...as many Germans helped Jews at great risk to themselves and families!

They`re at it again..no one over there is demanding rights as Assyrians..what the hell does that mean? They want the right to have an art festival...or a dance performance? When did the Iraqi government EVER refuse such a thing? And more...the government itself sponsored many such a display...as in Iran during the 2500 year anniversary of the Shah...the outstanding feature of the parades was the Assyrian Army contingent...so much so that they were asked to perfrom again at a private function.

What the boys and their battling bishops want is to use this bogus "dear language" claim to keep filling the heads of children with their propaganda...as the church has ALWAYS done. And this is the worst possible time to come making demands as CHRISTIANS...so they once again cloak it by claiming they want ASSYRIAN rights.

Our boys are marching straight backwards to Simele again...correction...they are getting OTHERS to do it for them...you think they`re crazy as well as cowards?
