these simpletons of ours...I`m trying to understand their wurld-view but it`s damned hard because it doesn`t appear to have been formed on this planet. Where they ever got the notion that the countries that exist today are the indigenous whatevers who were there since time began..and that this is the natural and legal and right state affairs and to be expected and respected by all the nations of today who all stole the land they`re on themselves is mindboggling. Where DO they get these notions? Did you say...church?

Although I agree with most of what the declaration stated about the recent events in Syria, I wish the Assyrian Democratic Organisation would not have associated itself with these Kurdish groups which their ultimate goal is splitting Northeastern part of Syria to fabricate another so called state of Kurdistan in the Jazeera just as they succeeded in doing in the Northern part of Iraq. The ADO is a legitimate organisation that was established in Syria and is concerned about the territorial integrity of Syria and the rights of the Assyrians as indigenous people of Syria and Iraq…After all the Kurds are as foreign to that region as are the Pashtun, the Irdus and the Mongols…. Any state name that ends with “Stan” is foreign to that region.

...no one is "foreign" who can seize and settle a land. The Assyrians were never foreign to any of the lands they conquered either. What are these people talking about?
