over at aina they are being honest for once..it`s nice that they admit they`re insincere right out in the open. Now..when someone accuses them of being deceitful and "exposes" this donation for the fraud and manipulative thing they admit it was...Peter will yell that there are ENEMIES out there who SLANDER Assyrians. No one does it better than they themselves..to themselves. Another way of knowing they aren`t Assyrian..that the whole thing, including this donation made for "political reasons"...is a fraud.

About the Church donation to Fallujah

Dear all,
I think that when Mar Emmanuel decided to send the donations to Fallujah he made a right choice, because he knows that unless he made such a donation the muslims would have a new alibi and a new proof to say that all christians are crusaders and pro-american (which is the the thinking of the majority of iraki muslim, blinded by their stupid leaders, and since a long time, even under Saddam's rule)
The second fact is that the clergy in Irak lives under a big pressure of fear, remember that muqtada el sadr is like khomeiny, so if he succeds say bye bye to religious and national rights, so by doing this the church is trying to prove that the christians minority is more iraki than the others
So I believe that the donation is a good political action by the church to make clear that christians are irakis also

... I like that..."political action by the church"...like all their other "political" things are..just those same damn sects having at each other.
