a year ago there were constant reports of Christians in Iraq being denied this and that...being slapped, jailed (HEAVENS!)...and denied all sorts of things. And now...there are no complaints. It seems all it took to bring peace and justice to the Christians of Iraq was an American invasion and lots of murder of innocent Iraqis.

Could this have been the magic formula all along? Or is that what the boys want you to conclude....they won`t discuss any "problems" Christians might be facing now..as a result of a war that is shocking in its numbers and the disruption of any semblance of normal life..but not for the Christians..or so the boys would have you believe. Why a friend of Jajo`s just came back and went further..he said things were GREAT..never better...so you should all rush back and get what`s coming to you..the Kurds, Arabs and Turks won`t stop you...they`ll just step aside because the Americans are killing everybody...I guess.

I wonder if things will be as peaceful as the boys want you to believe they are now...after the Americans leave? Or is that the point? Does "The Silence Of The Boys"....reflect one of those policies they dreamed up? You know...play it up big before the Americans get there...then talk about Patrirchs and flags while the Americans are shooting up the country...and blinding Assyrian women and killing their babies..."but we won`t mention that guys"...then, when the Americans leave and the pissed as hell and furious and grieving Muslims come out from hiding and look around for someone to vent their anger on...guess who`ll be sitting in those villages..building schools and waiting for little Nineveh and Ashur to come home from school?

And THEN the "news" will start up...bteathless accounts of dummped bodies, blinded women...murdered babies...fucked children...blow-jobbed fathers will all crowd in on one another with many a pious call for America to come SAVE YOUR FRIENDS..."remember us?...we stood by you...remember...surely you remember...won`t you help us get what we deserve..what we asked for...what we are owed..what`s coming to us....why are you smiling????"

but don`t blame them...boys will be boys.
