Let's say Lisa, a 19-year old college student, is facing the normal pressure from her boyfriend to have sex. He wants something "more physical", and in reality Lisa does, too. Up until this point, she has not experimented with sex, she was planning on remaining a virgin until she got married. But she really likes Mike and thinks she is ready to show him how much she cares for him.

In a world without legal abortion, Lisa may have thought twice about her decision to give in to Mike's wishes. Maybe she would have stood her ground and refused, or maybe she would have been more careful and insisted on some sort of birth control method.

But in a world of legal abortion, Lisa convinces herself that any "mistake" can be easily corrected with a trip to the nearest Planned "Parenthood" clinic.

Well, by gosh, Lisa misses her period and frantically pees on a strip only to find out her worst fears were realized - she's pregnant. Mike finds out and dumps her - calls her a slut and insists the baby can't be his.

Distraught, Lisa gets an abortion.

Now, if abortion weren't legal, Lisa's baby girl wouldn't be dead right now because Lisa wouldn't have been so slack in her decision-making process. A part of Lisa died that day, too.
