...it would seem obvious that this is the time to increase the odds in Iraq. While Bush needs a "victory"...the Iraqis need to defeat him badly..and sadly, they can only do that by killing a whole lot of people...which could the reverse effect of giving him the victory because more might be killed without him...though more got killed WITHhims than without...but we never would have known that had we not gotten him...or had he not gotten us(?).

While the boys take geart at 300 Muslim Assyrians killed..served them right anyway...each dead Freedom Fighter has a large family from somewhere whoŠll have five more fighters ready to go.

ThereŠs no end and there isnŠt supposed to be. As long as people are dying Bush stands his geatest chance to benefit...on the one hand people can say, "Look at how many are killed"..on the other hand the boys can convince us, by reading the Koran, that more WOULD HAVE died had not Bush gone in and gotten less of them killed than might have been killed..so re=elect him so heŠll get even more killed..but nowhere near as many as MIGHT be killed if he loses.

politics is complex art.

IŠve even managed to confuse myself here and I donŠt know WHICH is better..more dead now because more MIGHT have been killed...or less dead now which could lead to more being killed tomorrow. Either way you cut it people are going to die..how did we ever make a World Order in which the only way to make sure people donŠt die is to kill them...IŠm lost.
