I know now what these people do...fifteen guys want to do something...so fifteen guys start fifteen organizations or clubs and fifteen organizations start drumming the bushes looking for members...then they hold conventions, or have rallies or picnics and since each wants to be the most and the best, they schedule them on the same day...just so the other fourteen guys lose out. None of them get anywhere but they get a title and each can issue diclarations about what their club is doing to get Assyria back to its rightful place among the "community of nations". And in three years time they're all gone.

This line from just such an organization promising thousands of people a REALLY good time has the strangest way of enticing you to participate:

"Please contact us in time if you would like to make a speech or to send a message to the festival."

...isn't THAT going to be a fun place to be.
