...just figured out why the boys play these silly Soviet Era disinformation and smear games...the Communist party was very popular in Iraq and Iran too...these "intellectual" boys of ours certainly sound like they were trained in a cell somewhere...their writings are peppered with allusions to the good old days, Comrade. They are indeed arrested in development...they yearn for the good old days and see enemies and agents everywhere...here's a good example of Soviet Era "thoughts". Key is to remember that they most often mention what they "see" all around them, because it ISN'T anywhere to be seen and they want YOU to think the new day or succesful realization of a Five Year Plan just happened...so REJOICE...while lines to buy bread multiply.

My Armenian sculptor friend who attended art school in Yerevan during the late 60s recalled to me once over a bucket of vodka that he and his classmates used to chuckle as they sat in class hearing of the wonderful opulance of the Soviet system while outside the windows they could see their mothers and wives standing in line for bread....yet they had to answer test questions correctly or no scholarship...a scholarship intended to make you cynnical and stupid...else you might escape indoctrination and learn something on your own..something real. The boys are cut from the same cloth.

Few Thoughts

Dear All,

I think that any realistic (fair and balanced, whether being FOX news or not!) observer would come to the same conclusion that we are much more active and much more involved in our national issues in the recent years than ever before and this is a great achievement by its own.

...this means the exact opposite of what it says...like a Soviet professor saying any realistic person would agree that abundance is abundant in Moscow...when there isn't enough butter for half the people. You merely DICLARE what isn't true to be TRUE and tag anyone who knows better as "unrealistic". And you're done..no need to milk a cow after that.

We may have our differences and we may disagree on some issues but I think that all this is good and healthy should these debates be invested for the best interests of our nation.

...there is no "debate"...no more than there was under Breshnev and there are nothing BUT differences...there is a Party Line and you can either say "Yes" to it or "WAY YES". Any serious questions and you get disappeared by a Comrade Jassim.

What is good in any nation should it agree on everything proposed (or imposed) without any evaluation or analysis and when would the new and better ideas evolve if not during this hot and critical moments and events and debates

...which is EXACTLY what they're doing but trying very hard to make appear they are NOT doing. There is no evaluation...or analysis..there is agreement and pumping up of the Party Line...if you dare analize and see something different...you are an enemy and off to the Gulag with you...they'll even take a shot at your family...call you "insane"...as they did in the Soviet system.

I have only two comments:

First is related to our influential people (politician, intellectual and religious) whom we noticed their tendency to avoid announcing any official stand or address our hot national issues.

...by this you know there ARE no "inflential" people, neither inrellectual, political or religious ones. They WANT very much to have such people but have no idea where to get them from...except if one wandered by they'd damn him or her in no time. There ARE no HOT "national issues"...there are no national issues...there is no nation...like there was no butter in the Soviet Union...so you paint plaster and CALL it butter.

The absence of such clear and public announcements is causing a lot of damage to our case and this ambiguity is creating a lot of unnecessary arguments and conflicting view among our concerned people.

...not at all...no one gives a damn WHAT the boys say or do...they can't even interest each other in each other. The damamge is coming from an entirely different direction...most recently and obviously from the United States attack on Iraq's civilian population..which these boys PRAYED for. THEY are causing a lot of REAL damage..who gives a shit which party line they profess..their WORK has been to cause as much damamge to Iraq as possible.

Second is on the public activities that we are conducting all around the world where we have large and active communities. I think it crucial to invite guests from other factions, politicians, officials, organizations and even MPs (Members of Parliament) in these meetings, forum discussions and events.

...There are NO "public activities"..they have a few that they beg people to attend and no one goes. They have NO large OR active community and we all know that...so do they. But saying it makes people happy when they THINK there is one...fooling people is what the boys have as an agenda..that and murder.

...NO serious anybody would attend anything of theirs..certainly not a FORUM! But saying they SHOULD invite some makes the foolish..and the boys love fools, think that if only they'd get "serious" and invite them...they would come.

These guests would definitely support and add a lot of momentum to our primary purpose of conducting such activities, i.e. to introduce our case to the world and educate the public on our history and our current situation and finally to help us in our struggle to reinstate our national rights.

...they would have the EXACT opposite effect..and we'll show them that. Their "case" is an embarrassment and a fraud...and nothing would show it to be faster than their achieving this goal..which they say they want but is the LAST thing they care to see...THEY know how foolish they are and they have no desire to let other's in on it...I WISH they would.

Just a thought that I wanted to share with you.

..it isn't a "thought" at all...it's a plant...it's a rotten seed dropped in fetid minds to keep them on board..keep them thinking they are ALMOST there...so they can do even MORE damage to Iraq...for whatever grudge they have...eithe for being chased out or imprisoned as Communists or against Muslim Assyrians for rejecting Christ.

Good Hokum but trash all the same.

Alfred.
