..the scapegoat I mean. Explaining why Jesus had to be murdered..okay "sacrificed", is like explaining why a baby goat, the "whitest" in the herd, had to be murdered..okay "sacrificed"...sounds weird to say you murder a goat. It must be appealing to a certain sort of person, maybe the kind descended from Abraham and his incestous brood...the same Abraham who threw his other wife..or was she a concubine and their son out of the house...to think that a skunk such as that can be forgiven as easily as by murdering a goat...or human...must be tempting.

The ritual of scapegoating, brought to you by the people who ate bugs, is what Jesus and his sacrifice is all about. Imagine looking at a goat and seeing "salvation"? Imagine what kind of mind you have to have to actually feel CLEAN and sin-free...for one year...after the ritual of scapegoating. Now you know where the word "scapegoat" came from..it came from murdering Jesus. You "scapegoat" when you blame someone else for YOUR transgressions...but it doesn't end there...it ends for you...and the baby goat, when you cause that goat to be killed...with its death comes your redemption...and since it was an annual ritual, obviously the Jews knew themselves well enough to know they'd be at it again..that no one was thinking of reforming anything...things were just fine as they were...they just needed somewhere else to put the blame...so they'd be free and clear to fornicate some more till next year made another murder necesary.

Sure, you can look at a baby goat and see only your "salvation"...you can explain how without the loving sacrifice of that baby goat you'd have a tough time of it and so, as one thing leads to another and remembering that we aren't talking about the brightest bulbs out there on a rocky outcrop, you could easily conclude that a goat's entire purpose was to be sacrificed so that YOU could sin all over again and feelgoodaboutit.

People have a way of making a divine calling out their stupidities. It was okay enough back then, I suppose...and it makes sense the Jews would carry this over to a human...and it also makes sense that some among them would get this all confused with Assyrian rituals and what not...it all makes perfect sense if you keep in mind the sorts of degenerates we're talking about. The problem is that for 2000 years they've been degrading their own children by keeping this disgusting ritual alive and justifying it..often with hillarious mystic language that borders on the insane. Paul has good reason to fear being ridiculed if he's going to act and speak in ridiculous ways...isn't my idea...I'm ready to honor any honorable man or woman...but this???

Without knowing any of the details...just a general overview of Assyrian beliefs, Paul is rolling in the aisles laughing...I have a DETAILED description of what he believes in and HE is afraid I might find it funny...and refuses to discuss it...who's afraid?

Our insanity comes from believing what wasn't even widely respected 2000 years ago. We would look equally ridicuous if we believed in the kind of science they did..if we used the same surgical instruments, the same industries etc. To have remained back there in any of these other areas would have crippled us for Life as the world population increased and pressures along with it. The Human Mind CANNOT be stopped...it is too powerful an instrument to be held in check...but where religion is concerned it's the Dark Ages forever... because the Human Mind is turned against itself where god is concerned, that is the one major prerequisite: that you muck up your own mind...by definition if you are going to be religious you are going to cripple your OWN mind..after being shown the way...and this will be called Holy and a ticket to paradise. Religion MUST be irrational...and that's its greatest danger to human peace of mind AND asset to those who spread this crap.

Where would have been the harm if Christianity was based on planting flowers? Can no one see the value of loving their own children..of being kind to neighbor children..of loving parents, of loving a spouse...of obeying laws, of spreading charity and goodwill among the community? Would planting a flower every Sunday NOT be symbollic of rebirth...of Hope..of Faith.

Why the murder?

I'm sure there were Jews back then who thought the whole scapegoat thing was silly...and thank god too.

It's just as silly today....I mean REALLY!!!
