I'm glad you agree with me that's it's murder to kill an unborn child. Before it was only "pulp" and a "forked radish" - now since you yourself have called it "murder", and "pulp" and "forkedd radishes" can't be the victims of murder, you also realize that it's a human being we are discussing - not a POTENTIAL human being, because murder isn't POTENTIAL.

The fetus doesn't die ANYWAY if she or he is NOT aborted. That's why so many people oppose abortion. They don't want so many fetuses to die. Certainly, even if abortions were illegal, a few would happen, just as other illegal activities happen, but they would positively rare, compared to today's free-for-all where millions have been killed...."legally."

I doubt that botched back-alley abortions would outnumber the deaths from botched legal abortions, today. There are cases where the abortionist punctured the uterine wall and caused infections or bleeding that later killed the patient, usually because of inadequate follow-up by the abortionist. He doesn't care. He's a hired killer, not a doctor.

Today there are 1.5 million "legal" abortions a year. Before abortion was "legal" there were only a few thousand (your words) illegal ones, and most were not botched. That means it would not take much of a mortality rate, out of 1.5 million tries yearly, to match the very small number of deaths from illegal abortions.

I'm sure you're referring to statistics about back-alley abortions and mortality from the abortion mills. These were cooked up by NARAL. One of its founders, Bernard Nathansen has admitted as much. Read up on him, and "Jane Doe" who is now a very active pro-life activist.
