One very simple explanation for the jump in numbers would be the population explosion that has taken place in America, and across the world.

P.S. I would PAY to see you high ... meet me in Amsterdam some time. They sell hash brownies in coffee shops right next to latees and cappuchinos. Ingesting THC is definitely the way to go, because inhaling smoke hurts your lungs. But let me tell you, ... it really knocks you on your ass, hypothetically.
