Jeff, All sorts of people have all sorts of opinions. Let me speak for myself: if marijuana were legal in this country I personally would try it. Making something legal increases the likelihood that it will be abused. Yes, when alcohol was illegal in this country through prohibition laws, people still made moonshine in the mountains of West Virginia. But people who wouldn't break the law for the sake of liquor began to drink as soon as it became legal. When abortion was illegal in this country, only a few thousand (Parhad's words) were performed in "alleys" with "hangers". After it became "legal", the number is 1.5 million performed every year.
