Of course not, situational and pragmatic morals have no room for the objective morality your Assyrian ancestors had.

You worship the west, not the Assyrian religion. Your Ashurbanipal would have skinned you alive had he heard you speaking like this about unborn children.

The Supreme court in ruling for United States v. Vuitch, upholding a District of Columbia law permitting abortion only to preserve a woman's life or "health." However, the Court makes it clear that by "health" it means "psychological and physical well-being," effectively allowing abortion for any reason.

Doe v. Bolton, also issued by the Supreme Court, defines "health" to mean "all factors" that affect the woman, including "physican, emotional, psychological, familial, and the woman's age." (Andrew Varga, The Main Issues in Bioethics, 2d ed. (New York: Paulist Press, 1984), 61-62.)
