One of the reasons Al Gore and the Dems seemed to take it lying down could be that they are all having their strings pulled by others...it just made no sense..the Dems could have made a LOT of noise..they should have..it took both sides to steal that election. They owed the people who voted for them and they owed the country...they failed miserably.

There`s such a thing as two steps forward and one back. Kerry may clean up the rough edges of neo-con strategies...make the whole thing go down easier..as Roosevelt saved rip roaring Capitalism when Americans were left gasping on the floor...I have no faith in either party..one does the dirty work and gets their money for ALL of them..the other comes in and "saves" us..puts us back to work..gets our hopes and savings back up there...then the other one comes and robs us again...

as far as Muslims and their women I think you`re focusing on the worst cases..there are Mormons forcing marriage on fifteen year olds and keeping them as slaves...there are women who CHOOSE to become Muslim...and then there`s Cat Stevens and if HE wants to be Muslim...there`s something damn right about it. It depends where in Islam or Christianity you look.
