If you read the articles you would understand that the people who are being held hostage are 2 Iraqis (a man and a woman, both citizens, which the articles and I pointed out several times in this thread) and 2 Italian women NOT affiliated with ANY contractors, but who were affiliated with medical clinics in Iraq, specifically helping to bring in medicines during the sanctions and the invasion. In fact there are Iraqi citizens protesting that these people were taken hostage because these people helped them to get medical care in Iraq and even outside Iraq. In other words, those people who are taken hostage, in this case, are just as good people as Ralph Nader. I was pointing out that you didn't read anything about these people before you wrote your "response" to those articles. It appears that the kidnappers are taking hostages indiscriminately, in this case. --------------------- |
