...yes they are. There are several pressure points at which they could make themselves felt..it`s nice of them to treat the victims we make..but that machinery is soon going to be self-propelling...with a role for them AND Marines..they`ll go hand and hand all over the world doing what they started in Iraq...that`s what`s wrong here..we`re normalizing something that used to be reserved for natural disasters..with good hearted citizens rushing in with food and blankets...we are going to make the American Military intoi a NATURAL disaster and see as "good" sending in blankets for those whose houses we blow apart.

xxx No they aren't. The 2 Iraqi guys are citizens of Iraq, not the U.S. They are helping to set up clinics for other Iraqi citizens like themselves. They/their opinions don't count for jack shit in the eyes of the U.S. government, so what pressure point can they make themselves felt at, BESIDES going against the U.S. government's wishes (providing medicines and food during the sanctions, setting up clinics to help people out during and after the invasion).

xxx Here's another way to look at it. Say Ralph Nader was kidnapped in the States - wouldn't you want his kidnappers to let him go? Or is it OK for him to be murdered just to make a statement because, ONLY because he is a U.S. citizen, he's part of "the system," "the problem"?
