Besides some exceptions the majority of Assyrian campaigns that involved the resettlement of troublesome minorities was carrried out with the utmost efficiency and discipline.
There are even cuneiform tablets in which the king considers the captured population now an Assyrian resource and he orders his own General, mind you, to ensure that the captives have enough food and provisions for their resettlement in another part of Assyria. It even goes on to state see that no harm befalls them or you will pay for it with you life!

The women were not molestered and the entire population was peacefully resettled in another part of the Empire. Evidence of howw successful this was is apparent in the lost 10 tribes ofIsrael who were resettled in northern iraq by King Sargon II and became so Assyrianised that they dissapeared from the pages of history. Only the Jews would perpetuate this myth that the lost 10 tribes were slaughtered or massacred. no such evidence of this exists. We weren't in the business of killing every single man, woman, child and goldfish like the Jews did in Cannan. We only reached that level when we became Jews and followed in their footsteps in 1918 when we destroyed Conashway(aka Konsharay).
