we`re not speaking the same language...refering to the same things. I`m not saying they are a podunk outfit that has any nefarious agenda..I`m not saying people in Iraq can`t BENEFIT from the little they`re able to do when every little bit helps...I`m saying that this kind of help NORMALIZES this kind of HARM.

It`s very simple and I suppose comforting to know that a whole world wide netwrok of concerned Italians, or any one else too...can be foemed that will have MILLIONS in their budget and they`ll run around the world one step behind the military machime¡nes with ZILLIONS who will bring murder and ruin in whose wake these addmittedly GOOD people can find the opportunity to DO GOOD.

This is a HORRIBLE interactive, symbiotic relationship to form at THIS time of all times. And our people on the ground..who know fullw ell they NEED help...don`t want to be party to setting up this precedent..again, you can argue that a rape victim needs SOMEONE to help him wash up...but it should NOT be the family members of the Rapist..I don`t care HOW upset they are over their Rapis parent..that isn`t the POINT. If you set that precedent than every rapist will ENCOURAGE a group of kindly people who all HATE rape..to come clean up after and DURING!

That was the point of Shaw`s play, "Major Barbara" in which a good hearted daughter of a father who owned the largest booze plant in England, set up a mission to treat alcoholics with generous...VERY generous support from he millionaire father..any didn`t see the contradiction till the end. She made his odious enterprise more BEARABLE.

This is the Brave New World Order we`ve walked into..or allowed ourselves to be led into..where simple human compassion can be perverted and made an integral PART of the destruction we seek to ammeliorate. It is a dangerous precedent to set...that is all.
