I walked out on a college class in Logic because I wanted to fight..not discuss things logically. When the prof explained that there were rules by which you discuss things Logically..and the first was that you had to agree with your oponent on the premises to be used..and that the only bone of contention was how you arrived at the conclusion FROM the shared premises, my reaction was, well who the hell wants to discuss things with someone you AGREE with. I was stupid of course. If you want to fight with people then there`s no need to agree on premises or even on the meaning of words..hell you can each speak a different language and harrangue each other..to no avail until bloodshed settles the point. Before you can have a logical debate about something as touchy as abortion you have to agree on terms, so you`re both speaking the same language to begin with...after that you have to agree on your premises...and after that you can use those premises to reach either the same conclusion or a different one...and you part, if not friends, then each without a cracked skull...and maybe a window into the thinking of your opponent that might help a civil society endure... The central issue in abortions is not the life or cuteness of the fetus. That`s a smokescreen..an emotional tug at your mind so you WON`T use Logic after that but get all weepy-eyed and tragic and then pissed at women for being murderers..something no man ever has to be worried about. Right to life born agains have no love of fetuses..that isn`t the point...they dislike women getting out from under their thumbs..that`s what it`s about. Men still don`t use precautions when having sex..they still leave it to the woman..who pays the full price. The fetus has been killed for 4000 years in abortions the church can do nothing to stop..the Law with all its punishments has been able to do nothing about stopping...This is important to establish before you can debate abortions...you can fight over them all you want to and be reduced to a Paul and fudge-pack your own wife on the internet..but who wants that? The central issue to abortion is the danger posed to women. And this is what right to lifers and born agains are really targetting...they dislike a woman being free..they dislike her having shaken off the restraints the church imposed all thse centuries..they dislike their slave of the kitchen and bedroom rising up and smitung the son of a bitch where it hurts. But what can men do so long as that damned Constitution protects a woman and gives her comntrol over herself? How can they possibly be for turning the clock back on, say, women`s education? How can they rail on about equal pay..or a woman being in the workforce at all, or in professional sports? They couldn`t keep women out of the military..out of combat..off of submarines, out of firehouses, off the police force, out of congress...out of boradrooms, off the bench, out of the pilot`s seat...they couldn`t keep her an object of spousal abuse...a prisoner to marital rape...they could no longer get away with a wink and a nod from a cop when their wives complained of beatings...all their power..their "god-given to them power" over women has been evaporating before their eyes...and they hate women all the more for it. To these kinds of men, a woman is all about Sex..that`s all she is. Even their love-making is about "product"...it`s suppsed to be "utilitarian"...produce SOMETHING. The LAST stronghold they feel they have is her vagina..ownership rights to it....if that gets away from them and runs down the street singing...there`s nothing left for them...for a man knows he`s a MAN best..when he`s NOT-woman. If her role and status changes he doesn`t know WHAT he is. he Liberated woman is a threat to his very balls..to his sense of who god told him he his..though every man wants to use a woman, all are grateful as hell they AREN`T one. When a female boss tells a man what to do it throws his universe into reverse..his gears grind and grate and break...and there isn`t a goddamned thing he can do about it except go home and beat his wife and he can`t even do THAT any longer cause a female cop may show up at his door and cuff the fucker...drag him before a female judge where a female prosecutor will get him tossed into jail where he can be with his buddies and the REAL sexual objects for his male fantasies..other men. Most men are homosexual in every sense of that term..they love men, male things, male logic, male bonding, male company...only when it comes to their pee pees do they grudgingly "like" women. Men are constantly in danger of giving in and being Homo ALL the way...Gay men know this...the rest are afraid of it. The only place left where a man can make a disguised attack against women is this fetus thing issue. If he can get you sidetracked..get you weepy for a blob..while he murders live children daily and denies them the benefits of the Life he`s now so pleased to protect..when it`s in that woman he fears and hates...if you let him..he`ll get you hating women like he does. An abortion is all about killing the fetus. That doesn`t change if you put jammies on it and give it a teddy bear to hug. In an abortion that thing is going to DIE. It`s always been that way..if you just woke up to the fact it`s YOUR ignorance that`s the problem..not abortions. Abortions have been with us forever and they aren`t going away...there is nothing in the right to life movement that will stop them...and making them illegal we know won`t do it either. You can`t discuss this thing with them because they aren`t being honest and clean...when are they? They act as if no one KNEW the fetus dies in 4000 years of abortions..like you will say, "Oh my GOD...I thought it LIVED"! To get back at women they`ve shifted the focus from them and their needs and the risks they run..because how can they say, "A woman must DIE if she breaks god`s commandment"!!! Who`d going to tolerate that...which of them will come out and say it? But that`s all their weepiness amounts to. Their offers to raise the unwanted child are bogus...the poverty rolls are filled with children..the world is filled with children...dying for lack of a $1.25 worth of medicine already..what are they talking about? If they spent any energy in protesting the war that get`s them cheaper gas, or any at all...if they protested corporate practices that beggar people...you might believe they "care", And since they can`t stop abortions...all their tears amount to nothing. The central issue to the abortion movement in the modern world..a world in which women have gained unprecedented control over their lives and bodies..a world in which abortion still exists and increases as men make women pregnant by fucking first and expecting better behavior later...in such a world where the born again male see`s his dominance challenged and feels he`s "lost" ground too much already...the abortion issue is his last chance to GET that woman..especially the one that get`s away from the consequences of his fucking her over. This kind of man DOES want her punished again..he would LOVE to send her back to her place under him and his god...and the ONLY way he`s found to get there a little is by getting you to cry for a fetus that ALWAYS got killed..in hope`s you`ll outlaw abortions, as if that ever saved a fetus..which will result in divine punishment being meted out to Woman again...in a back alley with a coat hanger by a quack. "DIE bitch!", is the battle cry of the Born again right to life movement. That`s all his calls to "save" the fetus amount to..that`s all he will have achieved in the end..he`ll get woman KILLED for disobeying him...when he FUCKED her to begin with.
