...the boys make the same mistake in America when they call for Anna Eshoo to DO something for them. Anna was not elected by her constituency to "do something" for ANY minority group. Their lack of understanding of anything but the dictatorships they come from, as seen in what they make of their "forums", makes it almost impossible to civilize them...house-break them if you will...but they will go pooping all OVER the place and call that "nation building".

What they're imagining is what they had in Turkey under the Millet System whereby the ruling government APPOINTS someone to be a sort of ombudsman (NOT a truck driver) for a group...watching out for their interests alone. In Iran there was an "Assyrian" representative in the Majlis...and in Iraq under Saddam it would have been possible to appoint a person to such a position...but they are never VOTED in by the entire population of any democracy on earth. It SOUNDS so good to them and we know how important talkingalot is to them...that they'll get a mini-me Messiah to watch over just them...no one else...just them.

That you can't possibly, or legally and practically, expect such a thing in any democracy is the furthest thing from their "minds".

pss. you have to put a lot of stuff in ", when speaking of the boys.
