..no need to get huffy...and what are books worth anyway...aren't there enough bad ones around? All I tried to establish was that Mesopotamia doesn't refer to lands outside that specific center of the Assyrian empire...as India can be part of the British Empire but NOT part of Britain. Is it hot there in Turlock? Besides which the Assyrians never conquered Arabia and made it a part of their empire...sheesh!

...they existed in Arabia...not Assyria..and I don't care if they DID...Indian people can be in England without being ENGLISH!

the proof is in the fact that the first dynasty they established is in BAGHDAD, which became their qallaa. People don't establish dynasties somewhere unless they were there to begin with.

...now you hit on something...but I would say that the empire was centered there because of the proximity to BetNahrain and not Mecca. Are you sure we aren't saying the same thing but only one of is right?

...okay..okay. Next thing I know you'll hire someone...

..never seen such a cantakerous female! Lighten up will you? Can't you have a discussion either without donning war paint and your bonnet?
