...I'd always heard that there were Assyrians up in the hills of Iraq who had blue eyes and blond hair, fair skin and all of that...but I never met any until one day at Janey's father's house I was introduced to a striking woman with flame red hair such as no Irish person ever had....it was GOLD almost...she also had the greenest eyes I'd ever seen and what was more amazing still, her skin was smooth and creamy but healthy white...not like the freckled and sploched kind you usually see on extreme redheads...not only that but her three year old son had the same hair and skin but vibrant blue eyes...she was introduced to me as the wife of one of Janey's brothers...and then she spoke Chaldean and I thought how wonderful, this Irish or English woman has learned her husband's native tongue, as many gringos do....and then they all burst out laughing at me when I asked her if she was Irish...idiot that I am!.

She was from Telkaif in Iraq where are there HUNDREDS if not thousands of similar complexioned people...lord lord, what a beautiful group we come from!
