Forgot to mention that the role of American Missionaries were discussed.

It was emphasized that the Iraqi Christians are in danger not because Muslims have an inherent distrust or hatred for their Christian neighbors (because they lived in peace with Iraqi Christians for thousands of years) but rather because well-funded American Born-Again Christian Missionaries came in and changed the dynamic.

Whereas our people might have a small, modest sign that says "Jesus, our lord" or something near a church, the rich American missionaries will put up a large, public sign that reads "Jesus IS THE LORD OF THE ENTIRE WORLD."

To add insult to injury, these rich white born again Americans target our people FIRST, then they target the Muslims. If the lower classes of Muslims want to strike back at these missionaries, and they can't (because they are rich and well protected), they attack the Christians that they CAN get to...who have lived peacefully with them for ages.

What an informative and depressing presentation. If I've said it once, I've said it one thousand times.
