Jeff,

My son Sam loves Mexico too. He can meet us there if he wants. He's older than you so he's definitely an adult, which is why I never decide for him. When he asks me what should he do about this or that, I always say to him, "What do you think YOU should do?"

This way he can decide everything for himself. I even went as far as not teaching him any religion, whatsoever. Then one day he asked me, "mom, you have taught me everything, how is that you never discussed religion with me? I told him, be a man and go on your own journey, like Gilgamesh and Sidhartha.
