There was an uncle of mine fighting against the Turks in the army of Agha Petros in the Battalion Assyro-Chaldean. He lived in Syria later and emigrated to sweden. His name was Aho Arsan. It could have been him. Many writers misspell the name Arsan, Arslan, Aslan etc.

I will find out if we have this book here as well.
