...or he knows his readers are...his response to someone who asked how we know how many Christians were killed in whatever massacre is illuminating..

Re: The Assyrian genocide
As for the number of Assyrian killed in WW1, it is 750,000 (75% of Assyrians). Here's how we know this.

750,000 Assyrians were killed in World War One. No one kept a tally of the deaths, but this is a very good approximation and here's why.

...keep in mind as you read this that these boys steadily refused to accept casuality figures complied by the United Nations, Amnesty International and the International Red Cross for what was happening to Iraqi children under Christian imposed Sanctions...

A Russian visiting our hommelands before WW1 gives the total Assyrian population at 1 million (http://www.aina.org/books/aov.htm).

...got that? A Russian somehow conducted an informal census and we are to believe HIS figures.

We know from demographic studies of the Middle East that the population has increased approximately tenfold since WW1.

...but has the Christian population increased at the same rate..and in which region as Christians are concentrated in certain `parts of the country? These were issues raised with the United Nations figures...but they don`t matter here because it isn`t information, facts or sciense the boys are after...they merely pick and choose what makes their day...like Peter and his new name.

Assuming the Assyrian population has increased tenfold, and it is about 3.5 million now,

...this again hokum...there is no tally of the "Assyrian" population anywhere in Iraq that could stand up to the slightest scrutiny.

the population must have been about 350,000 then -- if there were no genocide. But since we know from the Russian that the Assyrian population was one million just before WW1, then about 3/4th of Assyrians must have been killed, else our numbers would be ten million now (imagine that!).

So 750,000 is a very good approximation.

..it is wishful thinking..like your name.

..I like that...this whole fantasy is based on..."since we know from the Russian"...on such facts and deep stuff do the boys build their castles...while the United Nations and the Red Cross and Amnesty International don`t know a single Russian to conduct research for them.
