...the reason governments keep it around and how you get people stupid enough to lead by the nose...

Primitive people, up to today...look out at the sunset and see nothing miraculous...but let the sun stop in the heavens and they recognize the "hand of god". Only when natural law is suspended do they recognize the miracle.

That`s how we went to war to kill hundreds of thousands of innocent people...with an equally "miraculous" motive...to rid the world of DMVs, when we`re the ones who make the most, have the most, sell the most and USE the most...and when that turned out to have been an obvious lie...just as the existence of god is an obvious lie..it mattered not at all...for modern man lives by lies as much as any primitive ever did.

Obviously there is no god. That`s the truth. There is something far greater than any mass-murdering "god" humans ever dreamed up...but we`ll never know...not in this life and not with these stupid heads...Gilgamesh learned that lesson long ago...and it didn`t take burning bushes and talking fish to do it..it took beautiful Sidhurri, the divine barmaid. No miracle was necessary, no suspension of natural law to impress the ignorant and superstitous...just good sense that opened Gilgamesh`s eyes to the miracles that abound all around us.

...the earth will never come into its own until we kill off heaven. Till then it`s just a hindrance...a way station..a temporary place that we have made into a Vale of Tears...to justify the haste and eagerness with which we insist we must get off of it and to our "proper" and miraculous home...up there on a cloud, after life.
