...since everyone else has made public declarations as to the recent death of your father...I feel comfortable saying publicly that though I didn`t know the man well myself, it`s evident that he was loved and respected by many...and where there`s that much good to say for someone there must be a great deal of truth. We all die...but few of us live.

I also wanted to mention again the lawsuit you`re facing in regards to the failure of the Hammurabi Monument to materialize for Detroit. The lawsuit is ridiculous and meant to punish you. You never misled anyone...you never gained or profited in any way..on the contrary you spent hours driving around Detroit and the state, meeting with other Chaldeans and Assyrians...hauling those heavy pieces in and out of your van...you GAVE and SPENT of your own for the Hammurabi...and not only the Hammurabi..when I was in dire straits yet again on the Shumirum, you gave me $5,000 to pay a part of the foundry bill...for which by the way you can still get all the sculptures I promised you.

The people of Detroit have other`s to blame, even besides themselves. They can start with John Nimrod who, out of sheer spite at how generous his sister was to my projects, wrote a letter to leaders in your community warning them that I was "out for money". Also Jackie Bejan, who emailed people in Detroit to beware.. for I was, "out for money" etc. The fact that the Ashurbanipal Monument was already installed and the Shumirum completed but being held up by Nimrod...AND the fact that, if I wanted money so much, I would have been EAGER to finish the Hammurabi and get even MORE money...inspite of all the facts on the ground...people in Detroit..who had pledged their support and for which I had gone ahead with work on the Hammurabi with confidence in THEIR word to you...became hesitant and then afraid..which is exactly what Nimrod and Bejan wanted...that way we have of punishing ourselves.

If this assinine suit EVER comes to trial..I promise you I will be there to answer any and all claims...and don`t worry, I know how to behave in court...I promise I won`t do anything to embarrass you further. Just let me know.

And next time...marry a Chaldean.

respectfully your`s
