...this Bernard Kerik thing is interesting. The guy is supposed to be PERFECT for the job of keeping us safe at home...while Bush makes enemies who want to come kill us so badly it hurts...anyway, seems a little skeleton in his closet forced him to step aside and "embarrassed" the presdient...NOTHING embarrasses this president.

Experts in the field are claiming he's the ideal man for such an "important" position...charged with keeping Americans "safe" and that "these times" demand a little more creative application of Laws and things that have to take into account the SPECIAL times we're forced to live in....Nazi Germany reducks? Some laws are "silly" or counterproductive, we're assured by those eager to break several more.

His own behavior is intersting...he was asked several times by staff lawyers if he had ANYTHING to conceal...like for instance not paying taxes on illegal immigrant nannies and each time he lied and said there was nothing. So, you have a "top cop" who lies...risking embarrassing his president, because he too feels these are "special" times and lies are in the public interest...wonder where he got that idea? Seems he'd fit right in with this White Lie House.

We, the people, are being encouraged to look the other way at bigger crimes being committed in order to "protect us", so why all this fuss over a silly little thing like Nannies and tax laws and illegal immigration? We trumped our own Constitution..ravaged International Law...the Geneva Conventions and the Nuremberg Trials as well in order to "protect ourselves"...and Bernard Kerick did the same...and all of it, we are told, must be done in this "new world" we inhabit.

It seems this new world is soon to be completely lawless. And we'll be safe?
