...sitting out in a sidewalk cafe one tender evening and I overhear a conversation among some gringos....seems one of their friends developed a rash on his arse and went to a local clinic...the guy wanted cortizone and wasn`t sure where to get it....but he gets his words mixed up and instead of saying "cortizon"...which is Spanish for cortizone..he says "corazon"...which is Spanish for "heart".

The guy at the clinic hers the gringo say "corazon, corazon!" and he thinks there`s some trouble with the guy`s heart. He pulls out a stethoscope and feels around for where an American`s heart ought to be. Everything sounding fine he tells the guy it`s all okay. The gringo, certain sure he can`t be the one at fault, keeps repeating "corazon, corazon"!!! In frustration he finally half turns and drops his pants, pointing to his pink and prickly butt and repeating, "corazon, corazon"!!!. The perplexed medic leaves the room in a huff and that was that.

You have to remember that corazon is also an endearment, sort of like "darling" or "dear". Pointing to your red ass in a foreign country and yelling "darling" and "dear" at another man will not win you any friends.

Even if it didn`t really happen...it makes a good story...or did you want to hear another outraged plea for a petition complaining about the world?
