...when the Soviet Union fell apart some people said freedom and liberty would more and more develop and expand in those countries while repression and tyranny would increase in the United States. They would towards us while we moved towards what they used to be.

In the 60s Americans were SHOCKED at stories of Soviet Gulags and prisons in Siberia where dissidents could be sent for years without ever knowing what their crimes were...today there are no Gulags in the former Soviet Union...the people are struggling on their road to greater personal liberty...but in America we now have Gulags...well, they are in Guatanamo where that DANGEROUS Fidel, who was all set to start a NUCLEAR WAR with America, can't do a thing about getting them OFF his sovereign nation's land.
