According to the dictionary, the word "appeasement" means "to prevent further disagreement in arguments or war by giving to the other side an advantage that they have demanded."

History demonstrates that appeasement does not bring peace – it simply defers war.

...did you know that 13 years of Sanctions that caused the death of over 600,000 Iraqi children under the age of five...plus daily bombing raids...plus lies trumped up in order to justify an attack for the sake of oily profits, plus a two year occupation of a sovereign nation that never did a thing to America is "appeasement"?

...Iraq is lucky we didn't go to war rather than "give in".
