How can someone express outrage at the way Christian students are being treated in the schools if Iraq..the ones left standing and not destroyed by Christians...while not condeming the war that has killed so many Muslims AND Christians and devastated the entire country?

It's the same lunkheadedness that thinks "they" matter more than the rest of the people in the country. I'm amazed they just haven't kicked them all out...you know America would if the situation was reversed....what American Muslim students could expect help and LESS abuse if they were caught writing letters to foreign Muslims armies attacking and occupying America..it boggles the mind, if you have one.

Our Assyrian students at the University of Mosul are harrassed by the islamist fundamendalists. It is our duty to support our brethern at homeland. These students are our hope and future leaders of our nation.

I, personally have been in touch with an Assyrian member of the Iraqi National Assembley and have raised my concern about these threats against our students. I think we should bring this matter to the attention to all Assyrian parties at homeland. WE must act NOW.

As a former graduate of the University of Mosul, I am working very hard here in North America and have been in touch with colleagues who are at different Faculties at the University of Mosul to give this case their highest priority and find soultions ..

For those who studies at this university, Assyrians have made "remarkable contributions" by their excellence in many different Faculties. The year that I graduated, an Assyrian student Dr. Benyamin Youkhana was the FIRST on all the University. His brother Dr. David Youkhana is an M.D. in Australia whom I met last year.

We must continue our excellence at this university, and for that matter, at other universities at homeland.
OUR STUDENTS ARE OUR HOPE AND NATION'S FUTURE LEADERS.
