As you all know, I started the Akitu Festival in the Assyrian community. For seven years now, I have done it at the Bet-Nahrain Cultural Center in Ceres. I created a play for this occasion where participants re-enact the 12 days of Akitu, just the way they did all those thousands of years in Assyria. Last year, the AIDS Arizona chapter wanted to celebrate the Akitu Festival for the first time and they had watched how I had done it for the last 7 years. They contacted me through a woman that I will not mention here, and asked me to give them the script for the play I had created. My reply to them was: "I'll give you my script when you pay Kenny Odisho for the Assyrian Fashion Show he did for you in Arizona". I never heard from them again. That offer still stands. Here are the AIDS people that were selling tickets to their version of the Akitu Festival: Shant Ceschia-(480) 330-7107 Youkic Khaninia-(480) 330-7107 Nina Klyana-(602) 329-3345 Good luck, Beezlebub. --------------------- |
