San francisco film Premier by Award Winning director featured at event benefiting irc refugee clients San Francisco, CA, October 13, 2005—The San Francisco Regional Office of the International Rescue Committee (IRC) announced today that the public is invited to a reception and benefit screening of “Another Road Home,” a documentary film that explores the delicate boundaries of family, class and politics. All proceeds from the event will be used to fulfill the IRC’s mission of assisting refugees being resettled in the Bay Area. What: San Francisco premier film screening of “Another Road Home” and reception to benefit the IRC’s Bay Area refugee clients. This evocative documentary by the daughter of the famous Israeli author, Amos Elon, tells the universal story of displaced people who find refuge and a sense of family in a new homeland.
