...what no one has stopped to consider is what this thing looks like from a Muslim`s point of view..not just Iraqis but Palestinians and any other Muslim not on America`s payroll...the fierceness of the insurgency...what appears to be random and senseless and over the top violence aimed at anyone and everyone they can catch...though still nowhere near as vicious as what the Christians did to 600,000 Iraqi infants who never did damn thing to them...has a solid and sound rationale behind it. Muslims have watched for over 30 years while the Americans, through their Israeli mercenaries, have committed whatever acts of violence and theft they felt like, also on people who never did a damn thing to either Americans, Christians OR European Jews...they have watched in amazement as Jews (the ONE People you`d think would know BETTER than to round anyone up or target people for their religion)...fresh from the death camps of Christian Europe and now BACKED, ARMED and "SUPPORTED" by the very same Christians who just recently tried to kill and eat them all...are acting every part the neo Fascists themselves...as if they`d been TRAINED to do this by the Gestapo! And, of course...for pointing this out...I can be called anti-Semite...when I`m one myself...or anti Jew when I broil Christians in oil daily because of the hatred THEY have felt for Jews and ACTED ON for 2000 years. As Israel has been given and allowed to develop nuclear weapons and have anything else America thinks it should...while Muslims can`t even build a nuclear electric plant because "you know how Islam is"...Muslims feel themselves increasingly being squeezed into a Kafkaesque citadel where THEY are the "violentpeople" when all around us we have plain evidence that it is Christians who have been the most violent of ALL people. Muslims can be excused for thinking Christians have finally gone mad and are onto their next Holocaust...they must have little doubt that if an American base and presence can be set up in Iraq...as it has been in Palestine (Israel) and Kuwait and Saudi Arabia AND Egypt AND Jordan...that it won`t be long before they`ll be completely surrounded with No chance of mounting any kind of defense. That`s right, DEFENCE...when someone breaks into YOUR home...you are DEFENDING yourself. The boys, being what they are...never learned about a Quisling...and how all Europe hated that man...so much so that they added his name to the dictionary as one who would not only betray his own country and people by openning the gates to the invading armies, but would go on and become their puppet ruler as well...supported and backed and propped up by the invaders...that`s what the insurgents are targetting...they won`t wait...they can`t afford to wait till "all the facts are in"..and, just like Bush has said...if you aren`t WITH the Insurgents then you`re AGAINST them and against the integrity of Iraq...therefore, even if you own a shoeshine stand and try to support your aged mother by shining the shoes of other Iraqis trying to get along...and here and there pick up a little extra by working for GIs...even though you use the money to feed your Iraqi children and parents and wife..even though you donate to the poor box at the mosque..even though you want the Americans out...still...if you are not part of the solution..then you ARE the problem..for it is JUST this sort of exhaustion factor, the abillity to shrug your shoulders and say "what the hell...as long as I have food and a roof over my head, who cares if Halliburton provided it..it`s better than the one they blew off my house anyway...so, I accept"... ...it is THIS the United States is counting on...this has been one long war of ATTRITION...no "victory" was SOUGHT, but rather a slow and steady draining away of people`s will to integrity and cutlrual pride..a willingness to accept defeat born of exhustion and hopelessness at the long course of the whole affair, to just "get on with it"...you know, GET CLOSURE! This is what the Insurgents are desperate to fight against..and unfortunately the only way to do that is make the idea of giving in UNTHINKABLE..of making this sort of "peace" and "democracy" ten times as costly as prolonging the attack on the attackers of BetNahrain..it`s a desperate strategy but necessary...necessary IF you want to walk upright and not crawl...and Assyrians, especially Muslim ones, NEVER leaned to crawl. One thing more...the present conditions in Iraq are NOT the choosing of the Iraqi people...I can claim that by resisting my efforts to rape you and forcing me to club you into submission, YOU are responsible for your broken bones...that had you let me have my way with you, you "only" would have felt a momentary pang...not the aching bones and broken bones and cuts and bruises that resulted from the beating YOU forced me to give you.
