I received an e-mail recently which asked the following question:

"I think Emile Durkheim is the most relevant sociologist for our plight. I must have had a strong sense of national urgency this morning for getting up at 4 AM looking for a sociologist in a 19th century "yellow pages" book. I did my share of work in accordance with the standards of division of labor. Now, which one of you will call the Durkheimian sociologist and invite him/her to do this important and urgent study on our stampeding people?? If you are already out of the stampede or you are already lost in the wonderland, I apologize for having distracted your attention!!

One more think (sic). Does anyone have a meaningful definition for the Assyrian Nigger and Assyrian uncle Tom??"


My response to this person is the following:

I would define an Uncle Tom as a person who denies their culture, their heritage, the very fiber of their being, in the hopes of passing for white. Their actions and beliefs are contrary to the survival of their own people, and they will do anything to strive to be considered equal (or at least tolerated by), the white folk.

So, an Assyrian or Chaldean Uncle Tom, which I like to refer to as Khalu-Toma or 'Amu-Toma, would be one of our own (whatever that means) who refuses to speak our language and instead prefers to speak only English, who supports the war and ongoing genocide against our people, who supported the genocidal sanctions, and who otherwise identifies with whitebread republican values. Furthermore, these people are embarassed to admit that they aren't white, and only would reveal their heritage to others if asked specifically about it.

There's nothing wrong with speaking the Queen's English. In fact, I feel that our people are embarassingly week in the language category, not only speaking English incorrectly, but speaking a more ghettoized Arabic, and even a redneckish, gramattically incorrect Surath. Shame on us for being so undignified and so uneducated, as a whole (present company excluded, for the most part)...

So, that is my answer to you, and to your e-mail. You know who you are.
