"Chaldean women in southeast Michigan were treated to a remarkable evening of fine dining, fashion, and fun. The 2006 Mother Daughter Fashion Show Dinner Extravaganza brought over 300 Chaldean mothers and daughters in celebration of their community contribution. The event was hosted by Mother of God Chaldean Catholic church in Southfield Michigan as an annual tribute to the women of the Chaldean community.

The event featured dinner, a fashion show, guest speaker on “Female Power and Communication,” and over ten thousand dollars worth of prizes and auction items. The runway introduced the best in young adult lady’s evening and casual wear fashion (see the www.CHALDEAN.org photo library link at the end of this article to see pictures of the event)."
