Can you experts explain to me why Islam forbids drawings of any kind of the great prophet Muhammad of any sort? Where does it state that in the Koran and if not in the Koran when was this law put into effect? Thank you in advance.

...what does it matter? How many parts of your ditzy Christian beliefs are in the bible? How many that are in the bible are news to you? This was not just "a drawing"..it was a drawing deliberately meant to drive a PARTICULAR segment of Muslims, the fanatics, to desperate acts...hoping to pull others along with them..it`s your usual Chrisatian tactic..to trick or force a segment of your enemies to behave in such ways that you can use to terrify your own people with visions of HORDES coming over the horizon to get them.

...The entire Protestant Reformation was built around the purity of what was supposedly intended in the bible..and chief among the things Christian killed Christian for were DEPICTIONS of Christ...the Protestants loathed the paintings, the statues, the bleeding Saints, the Virgin Mother and all the other "idols" they saw permeating Christian ritual....where Protestants were strong enough, they attacked Churches and burned or destroyed all such idols,...including figures of Christ...this was Christian doing it to CHRISTIAN!

Where does it say in the bible that you must hang a painted wood statue of a bleeding corpse above your altar? Where? When was that "made into a law"? And yet, didn`t Christians fight and kill each OTHER over just such depictions and Christian cartoons?

Why should it be so strange, therefore, that Muslims, of ANOTHER religion, should resent deeply Christian "cartoons" MEANT to be as offensive as possible...and at that, during a most unjust and cruel war brought to a civilian population for SIXTEEN years now!

When and at what other time has a nation as powerful and murderous as the United States had free access to torment and murder the people of ANY country for this long? The Nazis barely lasted four or five years...their attacks against France, Belgium, England barely lasted ONE YEAR...yet you Christians have given yourselves license to remain and kill for as long as you feel like it...and you ALSO want to offend their religion...which, in their extremity of suffering under YOU..is perhaps the last thing they have to cling to?

You Christian have NO shame.
