Plaintiffs say Air Force recruiters told to use religion as tool

A vocal critic of Pentagon policies on religion in the ranks filed court papers Thursday alleging that an Air Force recruiter in New Mexico was asked "to use Jesus Christ as a recruiting tool."

Michael "Mikey" Weinstein, a 1977 graduate of the Air Force Academy, filed suit against the Air Force in federal court in Albuquerque last October. Weinstein and four other plaintiffs allege illegal proselytizing by evangelical Christian chaplains, officers and cadets at the Air Force Academy and throughout the service.

The plaintiffs - including one of Weinstein's sons who is an Air Force officer - filed a motion Thursday to amend the lawsuit, challenging the Air Force's "interim guidelines" on religious expression issued last month.

The latest filing seeks to add another plaintiff, Master Sgt. Phillip Burleigh of Alamogordo, N.M., a 24-year veteran. It alleges that Burleigh, an Air Force Reserve recruiter at Holloman Air Force Base, "has been subjected to regular and persistent proselytizing by his superior officers" against his will and "in violation of his constitutional rights."

...The neo-Fascist Jesus Movement has managed to get federal funds to set up training madrassahs in garages and basements all over the country...they've managed to make a religious litmus test for apointees to all sorts of public offices and now they're seeking to transform our military into their own version of an Army of God.

...remember...these are the same Christians who just completed their murder of millions of innocent Jews based solely on their religious beliefs, who also just finished starving to death over 600,000 innocent Iraqi children, most but not all of whom were Muslim...and they spread the same lies, made the same allegations of plots and nefarious organizations out to "get" Christianity then as they do today...they are the same and they are on the macrh again, recruiting future soldiers for their next Holocaust...aimed this time at Muslims...and just like the last time...millions of Christians caught up in righteous images of salvation and security will also pay the price...a price these people are GLAD to make the rest of us pay because it is the way their bible tells them "paradise" can be attained...and THESE people call Muslims violent and make fun of Islamic beliefs???

..they are HIDING behind Jesus...they are using Jesus...they are counting on the rest of us to be too cowed out of a misplaced sense of respect for the very name and image of Jesus to challenge them...but it is NOT any kind of Jesus they are claiming as their guide...they did the same thing for 1000 years...they claimed they were murdering Jews and teaching their children to hate Jews because they were DEFENDING Jesus by punishing his "enemies".

...it's the SAME bullshit people. Don't say I never told you so.
