Dear David,

Thank you for your polite and kind note.

I have been working with the Iraqi Government, the US Government, the Japanese Government, the Jordanian Government and others now for three years.

The Prime Minister is a Shia, the President Sunni and all, regardless of their position and ethnic group support an Assyrian Province.

Fundamentally they do not want the Assyrians to leave the country and will do all they need to do to keep them.

The `culture of failure` that afflicts the Assyrian Community is the biggest problem.

Yes, we can and will have a province.

The request has been formally made, it has been signed for and is in the process of making its way through the Iraqi Government.

The Iraqi Government formally asked for a formal request to be made, it was made and is moving forward.

Let us put aside the `culture of failure` that always expects bad, scrambles for crumbs and can never imagine that something good can happen!

It is and will!
